Molina Healthcare Celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month with Project Love in Syracuse

Molina Healthcare of New York partnered with the Syracuse City School District and community-based organizations to launch this year’s Project Love. The project was designed to promote mental health and confidence, and to inspire students and residents to give back to their community. It focuses on the lessons in LOVE, the latest book by #1 New York Times best-selling and Newbery Award-winning Latino author, Matt de la Peña.
Molina brought Matt to Lincoln Middle School, Franklin Elementary School, Ed Smith Pre-K-8 School, and La Casita Cultural Center in Syracuse to present LOVE to students. Molina also hosted a reception to discuss the book and encourage Syracuse residents to read and get involved in their community.
